Villa Elyane - Colmar

The location is very close to the train station. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was lovely, with fresh local produce. The highlight was definitely the warm hospitality from florence, who went out of her way to assist us with directions.

The setting is convenient, it's so close to the historic center of Colmar as well as Riquewihr.

Comforts of guest room were fabulous - a flat-screen television, a coffee machine, and a writing desk. Separate bathrooms, that included a walk-in shower. The location was marvellous, just a short stroll away from Ripley's Believe it or Not...

The room was huge with a super comfy bed. The breakfast in that antique-filled dining room was delicious. Florence, our host, was super helpful finding us a taxi. Just wish the coffee machine had more options!

The breakfast spread was a floral dream, with local Tuscan cheeses, made my taste buds dance! Plus, the villa's vibrant ambiance and Florence's warm hosting turned our stay into a lovely escape.

Honestly, nothing, it was perfect. But if I had to nitpick, I'd say I wished we could have stayed longer!

Can't recommend it highly enough because I appreciated it and didn't want to say goodbye. Everything was perfect, exceptionally nice location really close to beautiful Colmar, and the garden, nice staff...

Couple's retreat worth a visit

Villa Elyane is a hidden gem we discovered. The host Florence was just amazing, greeting us with a smile and offering a breakfast that was beyond expectations. Fresh local products and homemade yogurts just hit the spot. Plus, the history of the house was just fascinating. You could see the care put into restoring it and keeping its original charm.

Sure, it wasn't the cheapest option, but honestly, worth every penny.

The rooms are well furnished and well-equipped with a huge bathroom, a balcony, plus very nice beds. the price is just right at £118. the setting is convenient, not far from all the lovely villages.
